Loganair sale extended after website crashes overnight
LOGANAIR has extended its ‘Tartan’ sale by a day after its website crashed during its final hours on Tuesday night.
Numerous people took to social media to complain that they had been unable to complete their bookings before the sale, which offers passengers 17 per cent off their flight fare, closed at midnight.
A number said they had been unable to access the Loganair website at all, and several said they had been trying for hours with no success.
Loganair confirmed to Shetland News this morning (Wednesday) that the Tartan sale had been extended to midnight tonight to allow people to complete their bookings.
The outage is believed to have been part of a wider issue affecting online reservation systems for airlines across the UK.
