Transport / NorthLink ferry returns to harbour
THE NORTHLINK ferry Hrossey returned to Lerwick Harbour earlier this evening (Saturday) a couple of hours after departing.
A spokesperson for the coastguard said that it was due to a medical issue on board.
They added that the Sumburgh based coastguard helicopter had been called out to assist the return to Lerwick. It later returned to Sumburgh.
By 10.15pm the Hrossey had just passed the southern tip of Bressay after setting off for Aberdeen again.
