Petrol pump damaged in Unst

THE UNLEADED petrol pump belonging to P&T Coaches at the Hagdale industrial estate at Baltasound has been damaged after someone tried to remove it from its stance outside the UK’s most northerly shop.

Police said on Friday that the damage had likely been done some time overnight from Wednesday to Thursday.

Anyone who may have heard or seen anything unusual in this area is urged to contact Lerwick Police Station on telephone 101.
