Police investigate shop theft

POLICE have issued a request for information after a window was smashed at a Lerwick newsagents before items were taken from a shop display.

Officers said it is believed the items were taken from a window display at JJ Taylor on Commercial Road in the early hours of Saturday (1 June) after the glass was broken.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Alternatively, they can attend Lerwick Police Station.
