Letters / Ruthless rogues
Councillor Mark Burgess need not have had any thing to worry him after he was reported to the Scottish Commissioners (Cleared councillor comments on complaints; SN 12/2/13).
I had reported four councillors for what I thought was a breach of conduct.
Even today I think they had breached their code, by not attending my house.
I asked two of the four to call along my house to see the state of disrepair, the human effluent pouring from a toilet all over the floor and various parts of the house with unfinished work.
I emailed the four councillors, I only received three answers. Their answers were if they attended the property they would be in breach of their code of conduct.
My understanding was they were there to represent their constituents, but seemingly this is not the case, so I passed my complaint to the Scottish Commissioners to see what they could do.
I was told by a friend I had wasted my time as only one per cent ever get their case heard, and as sure as he was right.
We vote them into their position, then once in office they turn their backs on the public.
They are not councillors as I knew them, they are ruthless money grabbing rogues.
