News / Classic motor show captured on film
THE ORGANISERS of the Shetland Classic Motor Show have just launched a DVD and Blu Ray disc capturing all aspects of the show which this year attracted 220 exhibits covering 100 years of motoring history.
It also features the various car, motorcycle and commercial tours around the islands as well as the special Queens Diamond Jubilee Tour of Ultima Thule, which brought a selection of outstanding Bentleys, Lagondas and other classic cars to Shetland.
The DVD, filmed and reproduced by Vidlin based Ronas Media, has a running time of approximately 45 minutes plus an additional 30 minutes of extras and stills of exhibits and interesting features of the show.
Joint organiser Maurice Mullay said the DVD was the ideal Christmas gift for everyone who attended the 2012 Shetland Classic Motor Show.
“This is an ideal Christmas stocking filler and a splendid memento of the event,” he said.
It also is an appetiser for the next classic motor show, which will be held at the weekend of the 7 & 8 June 2014.
