News / Creel boat towed in
THE UNST based salmon workboat Saloo was tasked to assist the small 6.5 metre creel boat Star of Hope after her propeller was fouled around one mile east of Baltasound.
The only crew member on board put down his anchor while he waited to be towed back to Baltasound pier.. The pair were due in just after 4pm.
Lerwick lifeboat was initially launched, but stood down when Shetland coastguard succeeded in finding a more local boat to assist.
