News / Enquiries into whereabouts of missing man continue
POLICE are continuing efforts to trace a 31-year-old man from Edinburgh who was last seen on 14 July at around 3.30am on board the NorthLink ferry heading towards Lerwick.
Shetland area commander Stuart Clemenson said the force had received a number of reports regarding possible sightings of Martin Kos, but these have all turned out to be false alarms.
The chief inspector said the missing man is easily identifiable due to his height of six feet eight inches.
When last seen he was wearing a brown leather jacket and tan shoes.
Clemenson added: “I do thank the public for all their support and ask that we continue to report all sightings and we will place a priority on the investigation.”
Anyone who has any information on the whereabouts of Martin Kos is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting 0980 of 15 July 2022.
