News / Day off for Aith school pupils and staff after oil leak

AITH Junior High School will be closed to pupils and staff on Wednesday after heating oil leaked into the ground.

The school’s heating system will need to be shut down to allow council staff to identify and contain the source of the leak, which was discovered on Tuesday.

Any contaminated soil will be disposed of.
