News / Arm caught in machinery

EMERGENCY services were called out on Saturday morning after a man’s arm became stuck in machinery at Lerwick’s Gremista Industrial Estate.

Two fire appliances from Lerwick were tasked at around 7.30am, with police and the ambulance service also attending

However, the man managed to free his arm before the emergency services arrived. He later received medical treatment.
