Power cuts affecting wide parts of the islands
LARGE parts of Shetland have been affected by yet another power cut.
The lights went out on Tuesday afternoon in parts of the south mainland, the westside, Scalloway, Yell, Unst and Bressay, affecting hundreds if not thousands of households.
The power went off at just after 2pm and has since, reportedly, returned in some areas.
Scottish and Southern Energy Networks (SSEN) has been contacted for an update and explanation.
