Delays expected to NorthLink ferry arrivals on Friday

NORTHLINK has warned of potential delays to two of its ferries arriving into port on Friday morning.

The passenger ferry Hrossey could be delayed by up to two hours arriving into both Kirkwall on Thursday night, and into Lerwick on Friday morning.

The ferry is due to leave Aberdeen at 5pm.

Thursday night’s freight sailing of the Helliar from Aberdeen to Lerwick could also be affected by delays.

She will leave Aberdeen at 6pm on Thursday, but could be up to three hours late arriving into Lerwick on Friday.
