NorthLink warns of potential for days of disruption

NORTHLINK has warned its services could be disrupted for up to six days over the next week.

The ferry operator said its freight and passenger ferries could be affected from Wednesday 19 through to Monday 24 February.

The freight boat Helliar’s sailing from Lerwick on Tuesday night could be delayed by up to three hours arriving into Aberdeen on Wednesday morning, NorthLink said.

It added that more detailed updates will follow as forecasts are updated.
