Friday’s ferries cancelled
FRIDAY night’s southbound NorthLink sailing has now been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions and heavy seas, the ferry operator says.
There is no northbound trip on Friday due to the dry dock timetable.
NorthLink intends to run an additional sailing from Lerwick to Aberdeen on Saturday, with departure time to be confirmed.
The next northbound trip is expected to be on Sunday night.
When it comes to freight, Friday’s sailings are also off, and Saturday’s are under review.
