Transport / More disruption expected to NorthLink sailings
NORTHLINK Ferries says there will be disruption to services through to the weekend due to the weather – with Saturday’s sailings to and from Shetland now under review with a high probability of cancellation.
For tonight (Thursday), the northbound trip to Lerwick will go ahead as usual.
But the southbound sailing will leave Lerwick at 3.30pm instead of 7pm.
On Friday night the northbound sailing has now been cancelled, with the southbound leaving Lerwick an hour early at 4pm.
Friday’s freight sailings to and from Shetland are cancelled.
For Saturday all services are under review, with an update to follow in due course.
