Emergency services / Road reopens following Tingwall Straight accident

POLICE say the A970 north of Tingwall has reopened again after it was closed in both directions due to a road accident earlier on Tuesday.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.15pm (…) officers were called to a report of a two vehicle collision on the A970, north of Tingwall on Shetland.

“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed in both directions.”
