Community / Missing retired teacher found dead on Greek island, local media reports
THE former headteacher of Scalloway junior high school Archibald Green has been found dead on the Greek island of Samos, according to a report in the local media.
The 73-year-old was found in the vicinity of the Boutique Hotel in Pythagorion, local website Samos24 reported on Thursday.
The retired teacher had been missing since last week after failing to return from a morning walk.
Samos24 said the body of Mr Green was taken to the island’s general hospital for an autopsy.
