Letters / Puritans?

I note that the SIC warned the local hospitality trade of customers who might shout or sing during the upcoming Euro football matches.

‘Customers who shout or sing can expect to be challenged by premises staff’ – SIC issues reminder to hospitality over Euro 2020 games

This is reminiscent of a definition of Puritans as a group of people obsessed with the idea that someone, somewhere might be enjoying themselves.

Surely SIC has more important matters on their docket.
