News / Andrew Cross found safe and well
POLICE in Shetland have confirmed that missing man Andrew Cross was found safe and well in the early hours of Monday morning.
The 34-year-old (also described as 38 year old) was reported missing on Saturday (11 April) after he had left an address in Sandveien, in Lerwick at around 1am.
He was described as around 5ft 7in tall with a medium build.
On Sunday evening police said they had received information that Cross may have travelled in a dark coloured Audi to a more remote part of Shetland.
At shortly at 2am on Monday police sergeant Victoria Duthie confirmed that Cross had been traced safe and well.
She said police would like to thank the public for their assistance in the search.
