News / ‘Erratic driving’ in town centre

POLICE are looking for witnesses after a car was said to have been driven erratically in the centre of Lerwick on Wednesday.

The small black vehicle, possibly a Toyota Aygo, reportedly caused other road users to take evasive action on the Esplanade at around 1pm.

The incident is said to have happened near to the junction of the Esplanade and Commercial Street.

Any witnesses should contact Lerwick police station on 101.
