News / Police ‘pop-up shop’
LOCAL police officers as well as representatives from a number of other organisations will be on hand for advice at the former Scottish Hydro shop on Lerwick’s Commercial Street on Saturday afternoon.
Part of the festive safety campaign the “pop-up shop” will be open between 2.30 and 4.30pm.
As well as the police, members from the fire service, women’s aid and the council’s trading standards and its roads department will all be available for advice.
A police spokesman said: “So if you’re watching the Christmas Light switch-on in town and want a quick break from the cold come in for a chat!”
