Boy fell from a tree

EMERGENCY services were called out on Tuesday evening after a boy fell from a tree in a Lerwick play park.

One appliance from the Lerwick fire service attended the Hayfield Lane play area at around 5.25pm to cut a lock to access a field and attend to the child.

The firefighters then assisted paramedics in taking the boy to an ambulance.
