News / Jewellery taken in latest break-in
POLICE are looking for witnesses after “numerous items” of jewellery and electrical equipment were stolen from a house in Lerwick on Tuesday.
The property in Grodians was broken into at some time between 11am and 4pm, police said.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said officers were keen to speak to anyone with knowledge of this particular break-in, or who saw any person acting suspiciously in the area.
“Officers would also like to hear about any person who has recently taken receipt of electrical equipment and/or jewellery they are not accustomed with,” the spokesman added.
