Salmon cage hazard

SHETLAND coastguard issued a navigation warning on Thursday afternoon after a fishing boat reported that part of a salmon cage was floating just beneath the surface of the sea near the Holm of Sandwick south west of Whalsay.

The report came in at 12.30pm however no reports have been received since, so the debris will have moved, a coastguard spokeswoman said.
