Transport / NorthLink ferry to leave Lerwick early on Wednesday
NORTHLINK has said there will be more delays and disruption to its ferries later this week.
The Hjaltland will now depart Lerwick an hour early on Wednesday, at 4.30pm, sailing for Kirkwall and on to Aberdeen.
And the Hrossey‘s northbound sailing may be delayed by up to two hours arriving into Shetland on Thursday morning.
The sailing of the freight vessel Hildasay from Aberdeen will leave as scheduled at 6pm, but is expected to be up to three hours late arriving into Lerwick on Thursday.
It comes after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice, which covers Shetland, from Tuesday night through to Thursday night.
