Court / Woman charged with attempted murder
A FIFTY-four year old woman has appeared from custody in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court charged with attempted murder.
Rebecca Hay, whose address was given as Shetland, has been charged with assault to injury and to the danger of life, and attempted murder.
She is also charged with resisting, obstructing or hindering police, and threatening or abusive behaviour.
Hay made no plea and was committed for further examination.
She has been released on bail. No date has been given for her next court appearance.
