Video shows otter and bird battle over breakfast

VIDEO footage has been captured of a battle over breakfast in Whalsay this morning (Friday) between an otter and a crow.

The amusing clip, taken by Ann Marie Anderson in Symbister, shows an otter snacking on some food with the curious bird close by.

When the otter’s attention is attracted to something else the plucky crow swoops in to take the food.

But once the otter realises, it shoots off after the bird and manages to take back its breakfast – much to the annoyance of the crow.
