News / Police investigate Harrison Square incident
POLICE are appealing for witnesses who can help in their enquiries into an assault at Harrison Square, in Lerwick, in early hours of this morning (Sunday).
A 30-year-old man was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital with minor injuries after being struck by what is believed to be a bottle. The incident occurred at about 3.20am.
Police said they arrested a 15-year-old youth. The boy was released pending further enquiries.
The spokesperson added that enquiries were ongoing, and asked for anyone who could help with information to contact Police Scotland on telephone 101 quoting incident number 0819 of 28 August.
