TWO people have appeared in court charged with murder following the death of a woman in Lerwick earlier this week.
Thirty one year old Ross Ian MacDougall, of Lerwick, and Dawn Smith, 27, also of Lerwick, made no plea when they appeared at Lerwick Sheriff Court from custody in private on Thursday.
MacDougall was also charged with assault with intent to rob.
Both were committed for further examination and remanded in custody. They are expected to next appear in court within eight days.
Tracey Walker, 40, was found dead outside of a property on Ladies Drive in Lerwick in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
