News / Trevor does it again
A SHETLAND bricklayer has become the first ever apprentice to be named trainee of the year twice in a row at the North East Scotland College.
Trevor Tulloch, from Lerwick, also picked up the Grampian Construction Training Group Trophy for the second year running during a ceremony in Aberdeen earlier this month.
The 36 year old said he was “delighted” to have been named apprentice of the year and was even more pleased that his employer Garriock Bros Building Centre had now offered him a full time job.
Pat Cromar of North East Scotland College said: “Trevor has continued where he left off last session.
“His attitude, attention to detail, right down to the millimetre, means he produces superb practical work. He is a joy to work with.”
