NorthLink delays

FERRY operator NorthLink is again warning of delays to both its passenger ferries due to adverse weather conditions.

The southbound Hjaltland is now due to leave Lerwick at 11pm on Sunday night, and expected to arrive in Aberdeen at around 10am on Monday, three hours behind schedule.

Check in times and boarding in Lerwick remain as per normal schedule.

Meanwhile the northbound Hrossey will depart Aberdeen at 5pm but is not expected to arrive in Kirkwall before 2am, and in Lerwick later on Monday.
