News / Man due in court

Police were seen cordoning off an area at Stanegarth at around 5pm on Sunday.

A THIRTY seven year old man is due to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Tuesday after having been arrested following an assault in the town’s Stanegarth area on Sunday afternoon

A 26 year-old man was treated for minor injuries at the Gilbert Bain Hospital and discharged later that day.

A report is to be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
