A TWENTY FIVE year old man accused of committing an assault which resulted in permanent disfigurement appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday.
Grant Harries, from Lerwick, appeared in private from custody. He made no plea or declaration, was committed for further examination and released on bail.
Meanwhile, 41 year old Jamie Southgate, from Salcombe, Devon, also appeared in private on drugs-related charges.
He made no plea or declaration in relation to a petition alleging a contravenTion of the 1971 Misuse of Drugs Act. He was committed for further examination and granted bail.
