A MAN accused of making racist remarks to police officers has been released on bail after appearing from custody at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday.
Andrezj Galebiewski, of 70 Breiwick Road, Lerwick, faces a series of charges while he was on bail.
The 31 year old is accused of breaking a satellite dish at an address on the town’s King Harald Street on 12 August.
He is also charged with shouting, swearing and making racist remarks to three officers at Lerwick police station on the same day and providing false details in order to pervert the course of justice.
The case was continued without plea until 2 September and Galebiewski was released on bail.
