Re. Gordon Harmer’s letter (Norway and wind; SN 26/7/12), in 2003 I had the pleasure of travelling by sea from Bergen to Askvoll (about halfway to Måloy) and back again. Wonderful unspoilt coastal scenery.

If it were covered in wind turbines (as presently commercially available) I’m not sure I’d take that trip again so willingly.

Especially as the turbines seem to be all about spinning money, money, money.
