FERRY operators NorthLink have said that Friday and Saturday’s northbound sailings of the passenger ferries Hjaltland and Hrossey are under review due to adverse weather forecasts.

The Hjaltland was delayed on Thursday night on its way to Lerwick. Despite not stopping at Kirkwall en route, the vessel did not arrive until midday.
