Broken promises

It’s a strange thing, but for years Shetlanders have always said they were NOT Scottish but Shetlanders. So what’s changed all of a sudden?

Shetland was once part of Scandinavia until a Scottish prince married a Scandinavian princess.

As they had no money it was agreed at the time that they would give these islands as a dowry on the understanding that they will get them back once the dowry was paid in cash.

But as usual this is just one of Scotland’s many broken promises. How many promises will they break if Scotland gets independence?
