News / Trondra road remains closed after fatal road crash

A PERSON has died following a road traffic collision in Trondra on Saturday night.

The B9074 road remains closed in both directions following the crash, which took place at around 10pm last night.

The road is not expected to reopen until late afternoon.

Specialist road police are travelling up to Shetland from the mainland, and will not arrive until around lunchtime.
