Ferries to leave early on Friday
NORTHLINK has confirmed that there will be disruption to Friday’s sailings to and from Shetland due to the weather.
The Hjaltland will depart Aberdeen, sailing for Lerwick, at the earlier time of 3pm – instead of the usual 7pm.
The Hrossey was scheduled to depart Lerwick sailing for Kirkwall and Aberdeen at 5.30pm but it will now leave at 3.30pm.
Departure from Kirkwall will now be at the earlier time of 10.45pm and arrival into Aberdeen on Saturday will be subject to a delay of up to one hour.
