A PARKED white Range Rover car was extensively damaged in a fire at the Nesting junction on Monday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said the vehicle was well alight when fire fighters from Brae attended.

They used two sets of breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.

The initial call to emergency services came at 4.45pm.

Chief inspector Stuart Clemenson said anyone who witnessed the fire should contact Police Scotland on telephone 101.
