SUNDAY night’s ferry services to and from Shetland have now been cancelled due to gale force winds forecast to last into early next week.

Ferry operator Serco NorthLink said that the northbound service from Aberdeen will only sail as far as Kirkwall and then return to the Granite City arriving there at 7am on Monday.

The southbound service from Lerwick on Sunday night has been cancelled.

Freight services for early in the week are currently under review.
