News / Woman taken to hospital after crash at Shurton Brae

A WOMAN was taken to the Gilbert Bain Hospital on Saturday morning following two vehicle road crash at the Shurton Brae junction with the A970, just south of Lerwick.

Emergency services were called out at around 9.15. The road did not close.

The condition of the casualty is not known but a spokesperson for Police Scotland said the woman was taken to hospital for treatment or injuries that do not appear to be life threatening.
