Stones cleared from road after lorry sheds some of its load
A LORRY lost some of its load near Tingwall this morning (Wednesday).
The police said officers received a report of stones on the A970 road at around 7.45am.
A spokesperson for Shetland Islands Council said the road was quickly cleared by the lorry’s contractor.
The incident is said to have happened at the junction which leads to Vatster.
A spokesperson for the police said officers are carrying out enquiries into the matter.
