News / Missing man found safe and well
LOCAL police confirmed on Friday evening that missing man Andrew Moorhouse has been found safe and well.
Police raised the alarm after the 47 year old was reported missing from his home in Lerwick on Thursday morning.
One Friday the Coastguard search and rescue helicopter was involved in the search for Moorhouse after a possible sighting in the Weisdale area.
A keen walker and outdoor enthusiast Moorhouse appears to have a history of being reported missing.
According to the outdoor website Grough Moorhouse went missing three times in the Scottish Highlands last year, each time sparking a major search.
