Transport / ‘Sad day for the North Mainland’ as final flight leaves Scatsta Airport

THE FINAL flight to leave Scatsta Airport before it closes took off this afternoon (Saturday).

Local councillor Emma Macdonald said it was a “really sad day for the North Mainland”.

The oil and gas flights are moving to Sumburgh Airport under a new partnership of Loganair and Babcock.
