Community / Midsummer Carnival raises fund for reach fund

THOUSANDS of pounds were again raised in support of the Callum Younger Reach Fund during Saturday’s Midsummer Carnival.

The annual event saw a number of colourful floats, jarl squads, the Lerwick Pipe Band, emergency services vehicles as well as trial bike riders setting off from the Lower Hillhead for a precession through town ending at Victoria Pier.
