News / Police launch investigation after stones thrown through windows

POLICE have appealed for witnesses after stones were thrown through windows of a dental surgery and a car in Lerwick at the weekend.

The “mindless” vandalism occurred at the Montfield Dental Unit on Burgh Road and nearby.

Officers say the damage was caused between Friday and Saturday.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111. Alternatively, they can attend Lerwick Police Station.
