News / Dolly fans will have to wait
THE DOLLY Parton tribute show planned for Mareel this weekend has been postponed for two months due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
Andrea Pattison, who previously took her Dolly imitation to the isles in 2014, was due to return with her backing band the Partoners for shows at the Lerwick arts centre on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.
But fans of the American country singer will now have to wait until Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 January to enjoy her versions of classic tracks including Coat of Many Colours, Islands in the Stream and 9 to 5.
- Ticket holders will be contacted by box office staff to see whether they wish to transfer their tickets to the new date or obtain a refund.
