News / Pair appear on drug charges

A MAN and a woman made private appearances in connection with a number of drugs charges at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Monday.

Thirty eight year old Kelly Ann Ross and David Joseph McKinnon, 33, both with addresses in Shetland, made no plea or declaration after appearing from custody on a petition alleging a number of contraventions of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Both were committed for further examination. Ross was granted bail and McKinnon was remanded in custody.
