News / Town centre assault
POLICE in Lerwick are looking for two teenage girls they believe assaulted another woman in the town on Saturday night.
The police say the assault took place around 10.40pm near the Toll Clock shopping centre and Bolts minimarket, and resulted in “minor injury”.
They describe the culprits as “females in their late teens”.
One has long dark hair, and was wearing a grey hooded top, blue skinny jeans and white high top trainers.
The second wore a black hooded top, black skinny jeans and brown Ugg-style boots.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lerwick police station or phone 101.
